We are currently seeking to recruit a Customer Services Manager, to act as focal point for the customers, aircraft maintenance centers and current prospects in Europe and Asia to ensure customer satisfaction and sales.

This position will be based in Europe, preferably Portugal in the Lisbon area. Other European countries where we have a local office can be considered, depending on the preferences and needs of the future hire. The contract will be according local hiring policy and salary, no assignment.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

This person will be responsible to manage Defense Market Customer Accounts located in Europe and Asia. This person will be the main responsible for aftermarket sales for his/her accounts.

The CSM will establish and maintain long term relationship with customers, interfacing with high and low-ranking levels on armed forces and governments, will capture sales opportunities, lead sales campaigns. The CSM will oversee Embraer operations, acting whenever required to negotiate internally and externally actions in order assure customer satisfaction and account financial results.

Requisitos e qualificações

• Leads sales campaigns, with the support from Business Development Team ensuring the regional sales targets are met;

• Develops trustful relationships with customers and service providers, by creating a level of support with focus on high rank officials and diplomats. This person will be Embraer main point of contact for customers;

• Ensures support for the region is adequate to each customer and the goal is to forge processes, strategies and relationships that will influence on the correct deployment of Embraer’s resources and result in the highest level of service, sales and customer satisfaction;

• Oversees account results (customer satisfaction, Embraer delivery performance, financial results, sales) and act internally (at Embraer) and externally (with customer) to maximize results and customer satisfaction;

• Oversees day-to-day support activities, including preparation for entry into service of new customers / aircraft models, and coordinates actions with field support, other Embraer departments and local service providers including Embraer authorized aircraft maintenance service centers;

• Reports customer trends and captures market trends and other relevant information about the region.

• Actively participates in local customer conferences and exhibitions.

Informações adicionais

• Business management or engineering degree or equivalent + 5-8 years of experience in the customer support or airline industry (maintenance, engineering);

• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is a must. Other languages would be an advantage;

• Superior communication skills and ability to successfully liaise at all levels of the organization as well as with external parties;

• Superior self management capability, in order to actively manage his accounts, defining and implementing strategies and actions to achieve relationship and sales objectives;

• Ability to discuss and integrate technical and commercial into a value proposition. Knowledge of aviation and ideally some knowledge of Embraer products and their components is desired;

• Knowledge of public hiring processes, legal, defense industry, finance and marketing is also desired;

• Able to work in a dynamic, deadline driven environment with many complexities. Flexible, has a sense of urgency and customer support orientation are key character attributes to be successful;

• Available and willing to travel regularly at short notice, conduct international missions and considers working overseas an alternative for future career growth.
